Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 August 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of Affordable Housing Hub (AHH) and affordablehousinghub.net. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
Housing information, not a housing offer
AHH provides housing research information assembled from public, authoritative and other identified evidence sources. A property or programme appearing on AHH does not mean that a home is currently vacant, applications are open, a waiting list is open, a stated rent is current, or that you qualify.
You should confirm current availability, eligibility, rents, waiting-list status, application requirements and other material details directly with the relevant housing provider or official programme source before making decisions.
No guarantee of placement
AHH does not guarantee housing, placement on a waiting list, acceptance of an application, financial assistance or any particular outcome. Housing providers and public bodies make their own decisions under their own rules.
Accounts and My Housing
You are responsible for information entered into your account and for keeping login details secure. My Housing statuses, notes, follow-up dates and similar records are personal organisational tools and do not alter the status of an application held by a housing provider.
Alerts and recommendations
Housing matches and alerts are generated from the information available to AHH and the preferences you save. A match is a research suggestion, not a determination of vacancy, suitability or eligibility.
Accuracy and evidence
AHH works to keep information useful and evidence-backed, but public datasets and provider information can be incomplete, delayed, changed or incorrect. We may update, remove, quarantine or correct records without notice when evidence changes.
Maps and nearby services
Maps, distances and nearby-service information are provided for orientation and may be approximate. Business, school, healthcare, transport and other amenity information can change and should be checked before travelling or relying on it.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse AHH, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with site operation, scrape or overload the service in a way that harms availability, submit malicious content, impersonate another person or use the site for unlawful purposes.
Intellectual property and source material
AHH’s original site design, software, organisation and editorial material are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Government and open-data material may be subject to its own licence and attribution terms. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
External links
AHH may link to housing providers, government services, maps or other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or decisions.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AHH is not liable for losses arising solely from reliance on outdated or incomplete housing information, a provider’s decision, unavailable housing, missed deadlines, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of AHH, introduce new features, alter data sources or update these Terms. Continued use after an updated version is published means the updated terms apply.

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the contact details published on Affordable Housing Hub.
